What's on the plate today?

Will LeBron James wear his headband for game 7?; Will Monsters University be as good as the original?; What the heck is Miley Cyrus doing with her life?

All questions I came across reading the news this morning, demanding answers.

And that's what I am here to do, whether it be stories I want to share from my life or pieces of news I have strong opinions over, this is the place to begin.

If you know me at all you may be asking, what is going on?  You already have a blog don't you?  Well, yes I do, but given the name was Krehfish Sportstalk, I figured it would be best to find a new place to post my non sports opinions and stories.

It would be fitting for my first item on this site to deal with sports though.

In the fourth quarter of game 6 of the NBA Finals LeBron James was stripped of his headband revealing a hairline receding faster than South Carolina did from the United States.

As has been said on ESPN this week LeBron is very sensitive about his hairline.

However, the moment was too big for a fashion check.  The Heat were in the midst of what turned out to be a comeback for the ages.

For once in his career LeBron had no concern about his looks or his swagger.  It was all about basketball.

The Heat went on to win forcing a game 7 which will be played in Miami tonight at 9:00 ET.

So back to the question.  Should LeBron wear the headband?  No.

He has bigger things to worry about than his headband and coming out onto the court without one will show he is as focused as he was at the end of game 7 and he is ready to win another NBA championship.

I am looking forward to the premiere of Monster's University maybe more than any movie coming out this summer, given that Kung Fu Panda 3 does not premiere until summer of 2015.

I can't say this one will be better than the original Monster's, but what I do know is Pixar regularly fails in these situations.

Not to mention the dual-marketing is genius.  Monsters Inc. came out about 7 years ago.  I was 12 years old.  So to make a movie called Monsters University in which Mike and Sully is a beautiful dual-market approach because it reaches the current generation of kids and will relate to the generation of those entering college.

Toy Story 3 had the same idea. Just sayin'.

I will definitely be paying money to go see it.

And what can be said about the downfall that is Miley Cyrus.  From pretty faced Disney star to the next generation of Brittney Spears.  I'm not sure what else could go wrong for Miley and I don't want to find out. Her songs and music videos just seem to get worse and worse.

All I can say for certain is I hope she finds Jesus, cause watching someone spiral like this is never fun.
